Attach a piece of sticky tape to either side of the film at one corner and peel them apart.

Works well
Delivery great. Works very well. I have a two section window and due to living in a city get a lot of light pollution in my bedroom. I have used this on the bottom part of the window and it is great. Now when my neighbours security light comes on in the wind, it only reflects off my bedroom ceiling. I can now walk around the room in the nod, and people can only see my head. I still get disrupted sleep however so I have after much thought decided to black out the whole window so the room is dark all day every day. Seems a bit of a weird idea, but if it improves my sleep it will be worth it. So just re-ordered. Easy to install if you watch the video and take your time. DO scrap the window clean first however, any little bumps (I just had the room re-plastered and had specks) will show.

Does the job it's supposed to do
Good quality, blocks out all light. Easy to apply.I was particularly impressed that it stuck evenly on our window as the glass has a bumpy pattern, like that of a bathroom window, instead of being flat.

100% blackout
This is a thick film, not like a car window tinting film. It blocks out the light completely like the glass was painted to black. Amazing!Instruction is very detailed and it cannot be avoided. Some sort of squeege kit is required. I used one from amazon as well. It needs some practice to get a good job and needs to be very patient and skillful otherwise the film will be damaged or wrinkled very easily.

Complete darkness for early summer mornings
Sunlight through the bathroom window at 5am in the summer wakes us up. This blackened the room totally. Also gives complete privacy from outside. Will take it off again in the winter

Not great
Not great. Followed instructions to a tee, Once on didn’t trim very well, even though using a brand new Stanley knife blade. Doesn’t seem very well stuck. Sure I will be replacing it soon, which at 25 quid for a tiny bedroom’s window think I’ll be putting tin foil up instead
