First4Spares Cyclone Top Handle for Dyson DC07 Vacuum Cleaner

It arrived very quickly and it looks completely right when compared with the old handle. But we do not have the right screwdriver. I think they need to sell the correct screwdriver with the part.

Perfect fit. Only difficult part was making sure the release mechanism was fit correctly.

This is a perfect replacement apart from not having the proper hole to screw in the bin release mechanism.

Cheap enough but sturdy albeit a few sharp bits. Easy enough to install too once you figure out how to locate the latch release (Make sure lid is open)

Did the job, replaced broken handle

I didn’t want to throw my dyson away for a broken handle, it’s 17 yrs old and the best Hoover I’ve owned, found this replacement and it was really easy to fit, sturdy enough and really cheap, and delivery was quick

I was very pleased with this 'pattern part'. It fitted like a glove and its silver/grey colour will match any unit well enough. Mine was blue, but when I tried to find a blue lid I started on eBay and found one which had been taken off a scrapped machine, and they wanted the same money as this brand new one from Amazon. I think they call it a "no-brainer" and I decided immediately to have the brand new item from Amazon. I also bought a kit of filters and they were easy enough to fit if you look it up on YouTube and follow what the man does. The Dyson is now sucking just as well as it did when it was brand new. I am a big fan of Dyson, but I think their inability to sell the cyclone lid on its own points to an excessive desire for profits. Dyson are the best vacuum cleaners on the market, without any shadow of a doubt, but you pay through the nose. The average husband can fit this unit (he just requires a star-driver bit for his magnetic screwdriver and a bit of common dog). Go for it.

Wasn't a great fit and the moving parts are not as slick as the originals, however it does the job and you get what you pay for.
