Love these walking shoes. I have foot problems needing wide toe box. Third pair of walking shoes I've tried but these are perfect. Great fit, grip well, look good, water and mud proof, easily cleaned and reproofedwhenever necessary. Use only special waterproofing for Goretex shoes.i use Grangers cleaner reproofer twin pack available on Amazon

As a daily walker I am always worried when it comes to buying new walking shoes. These shoes are ssso lightweight, comfortable and supportive, with a wider toe box than most. I am normally a size 7, but based on other reviews I went up half a size and they are perfect. I have worn in the rain and the Goretex lining kept my feet lovely and dry. I would definitely recommend.My only niggle.... after a couple of weeks wear the right heel has developed a constant squeak, I wanted to contact the seller to get them changed but there is nowhere on the order to make contact so my squeak and I are stuck with each other.

Nice walking shoe. Looks good and very comfortable. After reading previous reviews I ordered half size bigger than my normal, as shoes are a narrow fit. They are advertised as waterproof, but have not tested that yet. Very happy with the comfort. Fingers crossed they last, as they were expensive. £90.

Have bought lots of pairs of these over the years. Wouldn't buy anything else. So comfortable from the box, sturdy, very waterproof and wear very well. Excellent.

Very happy with shoes , ordered a size 8, usually 7.5. Fit perfectly, wear all day , no problem.Haven’t been out in rain yet, but sure they will be fine.

Having both retired over six years ago, we do as much walking as possible. My wife has tried one or two other makes of shoes but has come back to these Merrell waterproof boots which are her third pair. They last around three years & in that time we cover many hundreds of miles & they remain waterproof, the soles wearing thin before the uppers are totally scruffy. The price can vary quite a lot depending on the colour combination of the shoe. They have been immediately comfortable & don't need a 'running in' period. Hopefully, this new pair will live up to the reputation of the previous pairs

Best brand of trainers I have ever bought

I have had these for 14 months. I have worn them every day to walk my dogs. I have worn them on absolutely loads of long days as I do dog agility. They have been worn in wet weather, wet long grass and been through puddles with no leaks. They have been amazing. But today they poured water in for the first time and I'm gutted. I'm not sure if 14 months of this kind of wear is acceptable or not given the price. I did expect to have the waterproof part last for longer. The shoes themselves are still in excellent condition and have no signs of real wear which is pretty amazing given they have been worn so much. Only gave 4 stars due the waterproof only lasting 14 months otherwise 5 stars ⭐
