Armitron Sport Women's 45/7021WHT Watch

I was happily surprised when I received this watch in the mail. It is smaller than I expected, which is a good thing. It looks more girly and classier than a sport watch. I actually asked my husband how they could sell such a cute watch for such a low price. The sparkle is extremely subtle, I actually didn't even notice it until the first time I was in direct sunlight, so you won't walk around looking like a teeny-bopper with glitter all over the place. This watch also has a date function, so you can look at the time, the date, or the time AND the date flashing back and forth every 2 seconds or so. The light-up function is also neat; instead of lighting up the background, the actual numbers light up green. It is water resistant so I don't worry about taking it off to wash dishes or give my babies a bath.There's a little nub at the end of the wristband intended to keep the band that holds down the strap from sliding around. In theory this is a good idea, but in practice it's not perfect. It does keep it from sliding off the wristband completely, but it still slides the other way, towards the face. Not a huge deal, just a minor annoyance. Another flaw (and this may just be user error) is that sometimes when I look down at my watch it's not showing the time...it is either showing the date or the seconds timer. I don't know if I'm inadvertently hitting the buttons or what is happening. That seems unlikely because the buttons aren't that sensitive, but I don't know how else it would have happened. Again, a minor flaw for me because I don't often have a real urgent need to know the time, because I wear this watch more for looks.For the price, this watch is an amazing value so far, I would have easily paid twice what I did and still have been satisfied. This watch has been perfect for what I needed, which was something that was comfortable to wear daily and could stand lots of dirt, dust, sweat, hand washing, and perhaps the occasional animal pecking/biting at it. This is my work watch and I have been wearing it every weekday for probably about 4 months now.(I do not use any of the special features beyond the current time, date, and backlight, so I cannot speak to how easy to use they are or how well they work. I can say that twice now some buttons have been pressed and I ended up in one of these features without knowing how to get out, but luckily pressing random buttons always seems to work for me without messing things up lol.)This watch has been through a lot already and still looks great. There is only one noticeable scratch on the face and it's probably from a bird that I work with who likes shiny things (aka, not normal wear). The buttons all work fine and are easy enough to press. I was a little worried with this watch being white and becoming noticeably dirty, but I have been pleasantly surprised with how well it has held up. I think the shiny surface on the top helps with this and doesn't allow grime to stick to it. The underside is slightly discolored, but it does not have that shiny layer on it and I feel it clings to grime a bit more both from the texture of the underside and the fact that it's in constant contact with your arm. But again, the underside is only slightly discolored after 4 months of heavy wear so I'm really impressed (and I never see that part, so who cares anyway?). I also LOVE that this watch is water resistant. I have been able to wash the watch while washing my hands to be sure that everything is clean without fear of ruining it.Great watch and would definitely recommend and repurchase.

I bought this watch for my girlfriend because she wanted to be able to tell time in the water. She uses it all the time and wears it whether she is swimming or not. She got the white one and if it ever gets dusty or dirty, the mess wipes right off with soap and water. The white matches with everything and is big enough to read while still being small enough to be dainty. She’s worn in it her swim classes and the digits are easy to read even under the water. After swim, she likes to go in the Jacuzzi and it doesn’t fog up with the heat. When she finishes up in the Jacuzzi, she heads to the steam room and it is hard to read there because it is so steamy, but it clears right back up when she gets out. She wears in the shower too and no problems. When we went on a cruise she wore it in the pool and in the ocean. The pool was fine and she could read the numbers no problem. As long as you don’t go way down deep, it’s fine in the ocean too. We went snorkeling and she was able to read the time when she took her hand out of the water. On the second day of our excursion, we went “Snubaling” (or however you spell that). That is when you are on the ocean floor in fairly shallow water, 15-20 foot or so, and have a helmet on for breathing, but not the whole suit. Even with that space man helmet on, she could press the button and tell the time. This was a great buy for the money.

We bought this watch because my wife was having trouble seeing the small numbers on her analog watch. The only function she uses is to see the time, for which it works fine. It is supposed to light up when a button is pushed, but it has never done so. Not a problem for her, since she has an illuminated bedside clock. Some confusion in the setting instructions (buttons reversed) but trial and error works.

Definitivamente me encantó, se ajusta perfecto a mi muñeca que es pequeña. En general me cuesta trabajo encontrar relojes que no me resulten estorbosos y que no tenga que comprar en el área de niños. Elegante, sencillo y funcional a un excelente precio!

Strap is too long but extra holes make it a better fit. Love the little watch though.
