SUBARU Cabin filter change out quick and saves $$$
YOUTUBE instructions made installation easy.Item delivered to neighbor's porch, not a big deal, but address was clearly marked on package and neighbor's porch. My front porch clearly addressed also.

Works fine
Seems to be working, not sure I'd know if it wasn't! It was a bit hard to install but that's kind of Nissan's fault for making the access so difficult. This filter is a little stiff for squishing to get it to fit but in the end it wasn't terrible. I can't say how long it took bc my whole system has been acting up and my initial theory was that the auto shop messed up the air filter/intake by checking it and ripping it and there was something flapping around blocking the air. Took me 2 days to pull it apart (old one did have a chunk missing) feel around, clean it out, get the new filter and install it but...still having the same problems so probably could have saved myself a lot of time and hassle plus a few bucks!

Good product but very hard to install.
Good product but very hard to install in my Nissan Rogue. Bottom left of passenger side behind heater. Had to position myself in the passenger side flipped over, head on the floor and feet hanging over the seat. Imagine swimming on your back. To make matters worse, the space to push the filter into the slot is smaller than the filter. Very odd. Have to see it to believe it. Previously had three Chevy Equinox's. Their engineers use common sense. The filter is located behind the glove compartment.

It doesn't fit.
This filter dimension is about 1/2" too long for the 2008 Forester filter compartment. I don't want to spend time returning it, so I taped the filer to the compartment. The original filter has not been changed since the car was new, 13 years old. It is really dirty. The car owner should take a look at the filter.

Easy to install
Easy to install, easy to take out the old filter. Fresh air flowing in my car now! And way cheaper than having the car place do it for me.

Inconsistent quality
The first one I ordered worked like a dream 🤗 It was able to COMPLETELY eliminate the mildewy stench that ALWAYS trailed after shutting off my AC—which the OEM cabin air filter was NEVER able to do. When the stench started to come back (after 6,000 miles) I immediately replaced it. The replacement doesn’t work as well. It takes about 15 minutes for the after AC stench to go away. Still it works better than the OEM cabin air filter for that purpose. What has me troubled now is that less than 1,000 miles on the replacement and my cabin frequently smells of carbon or some chemical odor whenever I use my heater—which is frequently as it’s now winter. I most certainly don’t want to be releasing the very toxins the filter had been absorbing whenever I turn on my heater so I am online to order the OEM cabin air filter—which I never had an issue with while using my heater.

Good Value for your money
I installed this myself and it was a bit tricky if you haven't done it before (which I hadn't on my car) 2016 Chrysler 200.The one filter I replaced was disgusting and way over due to be changed so I am glad I made the effort to follow through with the replacement. The filter was flimsily made, yet because of the difficulty I had that worked in my favor. It did fit as advertised and I'm glad I replaced the old one!
